IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU, YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE

If you’ve noticed that you’re not moving as confidently as you’d like – feeling hesitant, unsure what exercise is safe, or not knowing where to start – you’re not alone.

Many people want to be more active but feel stuck because:

  • they’re worried about doing the wrong thing
  • they have a condition, injury history, or ongoing pain
  • they want guidance from someone qualified, not guesswork

Move For Life was created for people who want clinical reassurance and structure, without needing full one-to-one sessions every week.

Not a bootcamp.
Not a generic gym class.
Just supportive, clinician-led exercise that meets you where you’re at.

WHAT IS MOVE FOR LIFE?

Move For Life is a small-group exercise program led by Exercise Physiologists, designed to help you:

  • build strength safely
  • improve balance and confidence
  • move better in daily life
  • stay independent for longer

Groups are kept small (5–6 people maximum), and every exercise is adjusted to suit your body, ability, and confidence level.

No gym experience is needed.
You’re never expected to keep up with anyone else.
Every session is supervised and supportive.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

Weeks 1 & 10 – One-to-One Movement Assessments (Included)

You’ll complete two individual movement assessments:

one before the program begins

one at the end

These sessions help us understand how you’re moving now and clearly show your progress.

This is not a test and there’s no pass or fail — it’s a calm, practical conversation about movement, confidence, and goals.

Weeks 2–9 – Group Sessions

8 × 45-minute small-group sessions

Strength, balance, and functional movement

Exercises scaled to each person

Calm, unrushed environment

Sessions run mid-morning on Wednesdays (around 10am).

WHAT’S INCLUDED

✔ Initial one-to-one movement assessment
✔ 8 supervised small-group sessions
✔ Final reassessment to review progress
✔ Individual adjustments every session
✔ Access to the Move For Life support space for guidance and accountability

The assessments and sessions included are the same professional services we offer in one-to-one Exercise Physiology. Delivering them in a small-group format allows us to keep the program structured, supportive, and more accessible.

IS THIS PROGRAM RIGHT FOR YOU?

Move For Life tends to suit people who:

  • feel unsure where to start with exercise
  • want to move more confidently and safely
  • have joint pain, chronic conditions, injuries, or health concerns
  • value professional guidance and structure
  • can commit to a set program and upfront payment

Most participants are in their 40s through to 70s+.

This program may not be the best fit if you:

  • want high-intensity or bootcamp-style training
  • are looking for multiple sessions per week
  • prefer casual, pay-as-you-go classes

If that’s the case, we’re always happy to talk through other options.

PROGRAM COST

$300 for the full program

This includes:

  • both one-to-one assessments
  • all 8 supervised group sessions
  • ongoing support throughout

That works out to around $30 per week, with assessments included.

No surprise costs.
No lock-in beyond the program.

Upfront payment allows us to keep groups small, consistent, and well supported.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Everyone begins with a Movement Assessment.

This gives you clarity about:

  • where you’re at now

  • what would help most

  • whether this program makes sense for you

There’s no pressure to continue.

Not sure yet?

That’s okay.

If you’re unsure whether Move For Life is right for you, start with an assessment or reach out – we’ll help you decide what makes sense for your body and goals.

Build strength. Move with confidence. Stay independent.
