ONERO® is an evidence-based program developed from the LIFTMOR research at Griffith University for people with low bone mass. It combines targeted resistance, impact and balance training, with supervision by an accredited ONERO® practitioner.
Learn about the ONERO® research →People with osteoporosis, osteopenia or low bone mass who want professional guidance. No gym experience is needed. Your assessment helps us work out whether ONERO® is right for you.
For many people, the goal is to feel stronger and more confident in everyday life — whether that means carrying shopping, travelling, gardening, getting up from a chair more easily or simply feeling less nervous about exercise.
Your plan starts with what matters to you. Tell us what you’d like to keep doing, get back to or feel more confident trying.

OUR APPROACH TO BONE-HEALTH EXERCISE
A diagnosis of osteoporosis can leave you unsure about exercise. Your first step is a conversation about your health, your concerns and what you want to feel more confident doing.
If you’re nervous about lifting weights or haven’t been in a gym for years, Amisha’s role is to help you feel comfortable and supported from the start. Your goals, confidence and questions are part of that conversation.

Location and contact details →If you have a recent bone-density (DXA/DEXA) scan report, a referral letter or relevant medical reports, bring them along. Tell us about previous fractures or injuries, any current concerns and what you’d like to feel more confident doing. If you’re unsure what you need, contact our team before your appointment.
Medicare rebates may apply to the initial assessment for eligible patients with a valid referral under an eligible care plan. Private health rebates may alternatively apply to the initial assessment if your extras cover includes exercise physiology.
Private health rebates may also apply to group sessions if your policy covers group exercise physiology. Confirm eligibility, waiting periods, benefit limits and any out-of-pocket costs before booking. Medicare and private health cannot both be claimed for the same service.
ONERO® is designed for ongoing, twice-weekly participation rather than a one-off short course. Our 10-session and 20-session packs are payment options, not a promise that treatment is complete when a pack ends. Your Exercise Physiologist can discuss your ongoing plan and appropriate next steps with you.
